SapoAzul Workout Privacy Policy

This is a courtesy translation. The Portuguese-language version is the official text; in the event of any discrepancy, the Portuguese version prevails.

SapoAzul Workout ("the Application" or "the App") is a mobile application developed and published by J. Costa (sole trader operating under the SapoAzul brand), Portuguese taxpayer number (NIF) 226442225, with business address at Rua Álvaro Gomes 85, 4150-064 Porto, Portugal.

This Privacy Policy explains how the Application handles information and data. In short: the Application does not collect, transmit, store on servers, or share any of the user's personal data.

1. No Collection of Personal Data

1.1. Using the Application does not require creating an account, registering, or authenticating.

1.2. The Publisher does not request, collect, or process your name, email address, telephone number, device identifiers, IP address, or any other identifiable personal data.

2. Data You Enter and Exclusively Local Storage

2.1. To generate training plans and allow sessions to be logged, the Application asks you to enter certain data in the setup wizard, such as:

• Age and weight (optional);
• Training experience level, goal, and intended weekly rhythm;
• Available equipment and any physical limitations / sensitive areas (optional);
• Records of workouts performed (sets, repetitions, and loads performed).

2.2. Where the data stays: All data referred to in Clause 2.1 is stored exclusively in the local storage of your own device (using the operating system's internal storage).

2.3. The data never leaves your device. The Publisher does not receive, store on external servers, view, or have any technical means of accessing the information you enter in the Application.

3. Use Without a Network Connection (Offline Operation)

3.1. The Application has been designed to work 100% offline. Training-plan generation, application of the engine's rules, and progression calculations are carried out locally by your device's own processor.

3.2. The Application does not make network requests and does not send files containing your data, history, or preferences over the internet.

4. Tracking, Analytics, and Advertising

4.1. The Application contains no analytics tools (such as Google Analytics or Firebase), displays no advertising, uses no tracking technologies (trackers), and integrates no third-party software libraries (SDKs) intended to collect user data.

4.2. No user profile (profiling) is built for commercial, advertising, or behavioural purposes.

5. Data Collected by the App Stores and the Operating System

5.1. Independently of the Application, downloading it through the Apple App Store or the Google Play Store is subject to the privacy policies of those platforms.

5.2. Those platforms and your device's operating system may collect aggregated and anonymous data (such as download counters or generic system crash reports). The Publisher has access only to aggregated, non-identifiable statistics made available by the stores to any developer.

6. Protection of Minors

6.1. The Application is intended for a general audience aged 13 and over, and the setup wizard accepts ages from 14 upwards.

6.2. As the Application neither collects nor transmits any user's personal data, it fully complies with the requirements of Article 8 of the GDPR and Article 16 of Portuguese Law No. 58/2019 regarding the protection of minors' data in the digital environment.

7. Exercising Rights Under the GDPR

7.1. Since the Publisher neither processes nor stores any users' personal data in its systems, there is no data in our possession subject to rights of access, rectification, portability, restriction, or erasure on the Publisher's side.

7.2. Full control over the information rests with the user:

• To delete the workout history: you can use the "Delete history" option in the Application's Settings.
• To delete all data: you can use the "Delete everything and start over" option in the Application's Settings, or delete/uninstall the Application from your device. This action permanently and irreversibly erases all local data.

8. External Links and Direct Contact

8.1. The Application contains hyperlinks to our website (sapoazul.pt), including the feedback page and legal information. If you choose to visit the website or contact us by email, the information sent that way (such as your email address and message) will be processed solely to respond to your enquiry.

9. Changes to This Privacy Policy

9.1. We reserve the right to update this Privacy Policy whenever necessary to reflect changes in applicable law or developments in the Application.

9.2. Any change will be published on the website sapoazul.pt/workout/privacy together with an updated revision date. Material changes will be noted in the Application's release notes.
